Course description

For our youngest German learners (10 to 15) we organize an international „all inclusive“ and International Junior Course right in the beautiful City Center of Dresden.

Before noon you attend German Lessons specially designed for young people and full of variety, fun and games.  The lesson is very communicative and you are compelled to stay in active participation the entire time.

You will participate and create presentations in two workshops on ecological and political themes along with other classmates from around the world.  Of course, competent trainers are there and ready to lend a hand.

A multifaceted freetime program rounds out your summer course and you can readily try out your newly gained German skills.  Field trips and excursions are prepared and accompanied by people who know Dresden well.  You will have the opportunity to meet interesting people and places around Dresden.  This way you can experience face-to-face a living and authentic Germany.

Your German summer course starts everyday at 9.30 am.  There is a break from 10.30 to 11.00 am, where you can rest the mind from intensive learning and check emails or talk with your classmates from around the world.

After dinner we watch films or TV in German, listen to some German rock or pop music and play a round of table tennis, darts or billiard...

At weekends we go on field trips and you can take in the sites in and around Dresden, like the enchanting Saxon Switzerland, the VW Glass Factory or the famous Zwinger and its world know art gallery.  Also we take tours to Berlin or Leipzig

Transfers

You'll have to make your own arrangement to get to Dresden, but we are there to help.

Dresden has both an international train station and airport.  Often however, it is more cost effective to travel into Berlin or Leipzig, whereby a transfer would be the best option.  For example, it's just 90 minutes by car or train from Berlin to Dresden.

Additionally:

  • pick up from airport/train station Dresden = 50 EUR
  • pick up (by train) from airport/train station Berlin, Leipzig = 150 EUR
  • pick up (by train) airport/train station Frankfurt a.M. = 195 EUR (all 1 way)
  • Health, accident and liability Insurance= 29 EUR
