Accommodation
We have several options for your accommodation - whether with a guest family with half or full board, in a shared student flat with German students or in a private apartment - tell us your preference and we will find your "home away from home"
Guest family
When living with one of our selected and "tested" host families* you will enjoy typical German hospitality from the moment you arrive. You will be treated like a member of the family, and will have many opportunities to practice your German and to get to know German culture and lifestyle first hand.
Staying with a host family includes:
- Single or double room
- Use of kitchen + bathroom
(laundry, TV, garden, etc.)
- Breakfast, half or full board
- 20 to 45 min trip from and to the school
*TIP: If you don΄t get along with your family or flatmates, we can find an alternative for you.
Shared Student Apartment
A room in a "WG" (shared apartment) with a common use of kitchen and bathroom is very popular among Germans and our students, because here you learn first hand about student life and also live among peers. In a "WG" there is always something going on this is not recommended for students who prefer a quiet lifestyle.
A stay in a shared apartment includes:
- Single or double room in an apartment close to the school
- Share with two or three other (mostly German) students on request only
women or men
- Fully furnished and with regular standards
- No meals but linens and towels are provided
Note: the student apartment can only be booked by students
from 18 years old.
Apartment
If you prefer to live in a more individual way on your own, with your partner or family we can arrange:
- Apartments & studios
- Basic or exclusive standards
- With kitchen, TV, telephone, parking
- near the school or in the green periphery of the City
Hostel + B&B
As an alternative to the options described above, we can arrange your accommodation in one of the two hostels that are 5 min walk from the school or the one in the old city centre.
They have:
- Single, double rooms and dorms
- Breakfast, half and full board
- some have cooking, sauna and common room facilities
Hotel + B&B
Moreover, there is quite a number of B&Bs or hotels for all tastes and budgets around - from 5 star "Kempinski" to "Art Hotel" with pictures by the famous Dresdener artist A.C. Penck.
